National Safety Month 2023
RAAus is proud to present National Safety Month 2023.
Every October, RAAus hosts a month-long safety campaign to promote key safety focus areas identified from occurrence reports submitted to RAAus. Our safety information targets pilots, maintainers, aircraft owners and flight training schools.
This year we are running a fatal accident series, covering the 4 most common causes of fatal accident within RAAus operations. These are:
- COLLISION WITH TERRAIN AND WIRESTRIKES
- MID-AIR COLLISIONS
- VFR INTO IMC
- LOSS OF CONTROL
